63 Woman Hurt in car crash due to fog

A 63-year-old woman was hospitalized after a highway car accident that occurred in the fog early Monday in Nemaha County. The Kansas State Highway Patrol said a 2005 Buick 4 door car was parked on US-36 highway about a half mile east of Seneca waiting for a train to pass. A second vehicle didn’t see the Buick because of the fog. The second vehicle, a 2001 Kenworth 18-wheeler truck hit the car with the rear of its trailer.
